About Dinah Lee Morgan

Dinah Lee Morgan, a talented artist born and raised in Lewes, East Sussex, United Kingdom, discovered her passion for art at a young age. She pursued her formal education in art from renowned institutions including Hornsey school of art, Comarthen school of sculpture, and the HDK in Berlin honing her skills and developing her unique style.

“My work is a direct and intuitive response to the living world around me. I am continually drawn to the individuality of form—each subject offering its own distinct rhythm and presence. Working either from life or from preliminary sketches, I aim to capture the essence and vitality of these forms through clay.

This exhibition presents a collection of recent ceramic works. I strive to convey the energy and immediacy inherent in my subjects, often working rapidly and using only my hands to sculpt—eschewing tools in favor of a more tactile connection. Each piece is marked by my fingerprints, a trace of the process and a signature of the moment.
